May 15th was National Peace Officers Memorial Day, which honors officers who have been killed or disabled in the line of duty. May 14 - May 20 was National Police Week.
Mr. J's Bagels and Deli and Domino's Pizza in Broadway both gifted the Timberville Police Department food as a thank you for their service. The Timberville Trinity United Church of Christ also served lunch to the Timberville Police Department, Timberville Vol. Fire Department and Town Staff.
