At the Council Meeting, Chief Dodd announced SGT Larry Crider’s retirement. SGT Crider served with the Timberville Police Department for 20 years. We would like to thank him for his service to the Town, and we wish him the best in his retirement.
 
Chief Dodd also announced the new promotions in the department.
 
Officer Jeremy Hooke has been promoted to Sergeant, where he will assume additional administrative and leadership responsibilities.
 
Officer Steve Scholten has been promoted to Master Police Officer. He will carry additional administrative responsibilities including evidence control, investigations, and mental health advocacy.
 
Congratulations to Officer Hooke and Officer Scholten for their new promotions.
